Natural Disaster is any emergency defined by the Commonwealth for the purposes of the Natural Disaster Relief Arrangements: bushfires, cyclones, earthquakes, floods and storms including hail. [3]

Natural disaster - it means the occurrence associated with the operation forces of nature, especially lightning, earthquakes, strong winds, heavy rainfall, prolonged occurrence extreme temperatures, landslides, fires, droughts, floods, ice on rivers and seas, lakes and reservoirs, mass of pests, diseases of plants or animal or disease infectious people or operation of any other element (raw translation).
